An outdoor wedding in November can be tricky, but this bride and groom were blessed with the most exquisite fall day. The setting at Scribner's Bend in the Sacramento delta was intimate, relaxed, and elegant. I loved designing florals that complemented the bridal palette of rich blue with ombre shades of burgundy, blush, and mauve. It's a popular color choice, but we kept it fresh by bringing in unique flowers and foliage such as queen protea with nandina and acacia foliage. I was so pleased with how the florals complemented the groomsmen's suits and the bridesmaid's dresses--flowers really do bring it all together in the most magical of ways.
