Looking back, looking ahead

Two thousand eighteen was full of firsts for Honeysuckle House. It was my busiest year to date for weddings. I was delighted to have wedding design work in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. I completed my first destination wedding, in Temecula, CA. And I hosted my first floral pop-up shop. Fortunately for me, I had the pleasure of working with brides who trusted me to create uniquely beautiful bouquets and arrangements--not a bridezilla in the lot! Doubly blessed, I connected with local flower growers whose blooms I relied upon to make stunning arrangements full of texture, variety, and all the good organically-grown feelings.

My prayer for Honeysuckle House in 2019 is for the opportunity to meet a new batch of brides who value seasonal, locally-grown flowers and are drawn to my loose, romantic style of design. Flowers, plants, gardens--they consume my thoughts in the off season as I plan my home garden and dream of spring. This year, I'll be introducing garden design as one of Honeysuckle House's services. I'm thrilled to get to work with my friends and neighbors to create garden spaces they will love all year long. I enjoy getting my hands dirty, so email me if your yard is ready for a reboot.
